GIVE THANKS TO THE HOLY ONE

Verse of the Day

September 7, 2021

Galatians 5:1 NIV
It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.

REFLECTION

Prayer

Praise you Father on this new day that you have taken care of me. Thank you so much for the life you have given me and for your Son Jesus Christ our Savior. Forgive me for my sins committed in thought, word, and deed. Help me to live according to your will to be pleasing to you. I pray, Father, that we understand your words through the Holy Spirit that you have given us to serve as a reminder to those who also believe in you.
Thank you Jesus Christ our Savior. You are our way, light, and truth to the Father. Through you who believe and follow your teachings and deeds, we have the hope of entering the Kingdom of Heaven that you have prepared for your followers. Thank you for the Good News for us that you bring from God.

All praise and worship are only for you God. In the name of your only begotten Son Jesus Christ our Savior. Amen.

Signs that you are in Jesus Christ

True Christians must live according to the teachings and works of Jesus Christ as a result of being pleasing in the sight of the Father.
22But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,

23gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.

 24

Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.

Worldly living does not belong to the Kingdom of Heaven. The desire to live in a spiritual way can be seen in his actions, words, and deeds.
19The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery;

 20

idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions

21

and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.

We are no longer subject to the old belief that the uncircumcised do not belong to the Kingdom of God
6For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision has any value. The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love.

We are now covered by Christianity following the teachings and works of Jesus Christ who is our guide to Eternal Life, our only Savior.

 26

Let us not become conceited, provoking and envying each other.

We are called to be free through Jesus Christ. This freedom is the forgiveness of our sins, so let's try not to be enslaved to these sins again.
13You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love.

Let us show that we are true believers in Jesus Christ who show love as we love ourselves. This is living in the Holy Spirit.
14For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.”

Galatians 5 NIV

Freedom in Christ

1It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.

2Mark my words! I, Paul, tell you that if you let yourselves be circumcised, Christ will be of no value to you at all.

3Again I declare to every man who lets himself be circumcised that he is obligated to obey the whole law.

4You who are trying to be justified by the law have been alienated from Christ; you have fallen away from grace.

5For through the Spirit we eagerly await by faith the righteousness for which we hope.

6For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision has any value. The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love.

7You were running a good race. Who cut in on you to keep you from obeying the truth?

8That kind of persuasion does not come from the one who calls you.

9“A little yeast works through the whole batch of dough.”

10I am confident in the Lord that you will take no other view. The one who is throwing you into confusion, whoever that may be, will have to pay the penalty.

11Brothers and sisters, if I am still preaching circumcision, why am I still being persecuted? In that case the offense of the cross has been abolished.

12As for those agitators, I wish they would go the whole way and emasculate themselves!

Life by the Spirit

13You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love.

14For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.”

15If you bite and devour each other, watch out or you will be destroyed by each other.

16So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh.

17For the flesh desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the flesh. They are in conflict with each other, so that you are not to do whatever you want.

18But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.
19The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery;

20idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions

21and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.

22But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,

23gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.

24Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.

25Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit.
26Let us not become conceited, provoking and envying each other.

May the blessing of our Almighty God be with you always. In the name of our only Savior Jesus Christ, who was crucified and died for our sins. Amen.

What Does The Bible Say About Faith Tagalog / Filipino Bible Verse | Give Thanks To The Holy One

Give Thanks To The Holy One What Does The Bible Say About Faith  Ang pananampalataya ay ang katiyakan na matatanggap natin ang mga bagay na inaasahan natin.

Palalakasin kita at tutulungan. What Does The Bible Say About Fear English (Bible Verse) | Give Thanks To The Holy One

Give Thanks To The Holy One What Does The Bible Say About Fear There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear, for fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not reached perfection in love. - 1 John 4:18 Don't be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord, and turn away from evil. - Proverbs 3:7 for God did not give us a spirit of cowardice, but rather a spirit of power and of love and of self-discipline. - 2 Timothy 1:7 Do not worry about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. - Philippians 4:6 when I am afraid, I put my trust in you. - Psalms 56:3 I sought the Lord, and he answered me, and delivered me from all my fears. - Psalms 34:4 do not fear, for I am with you, do not be afraid, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my victorious right hand. - Isaiah 41:10 I hereby command you: Be strong and courageous; do not be frightened or dismayed, for th
