Reflection

Prayer

Praise be to You, Lord God. Thank you so much for this new day with your love and care for us. Truly you are the living God who is always there for us. Forgive me for my sins and shortcomings committed in thought, word, and deed. Help me to follow Your will and not my will. Share your Good News with the world as a reminder to those who also believe in You. I want You to honor, praise, and adore with all my being that You have bestowed upon me.
Thank You, Lord Jesus Christ, my Savior for atonement for my sins. Forgive me for my weaknesses. May You continue to guide me to follow the teachings and works You have shown us. May Your sermons remain in my heart and mind.

All praise and worship are only for You God. In the name of your only Son Jesus Christ our Savior. Amen.

Fast for the Lord

Prayer and fasting are a way of showing obedience to God because it requires sincere intent to get closer to the Father and know His will. This is not easy to do especially with people who are accustomed to eating every day, doing everything they want, and don’t think that we also need to fast for the Lord. When we fast our hearts and minds are directed only to God. Asking for His guidance so that we can live according to Him. We entrust our lives to Him no matter what happens around us. We hope He will never forsake us especially in times of trials.
We all sin against God. His followers should strive to follow the example set by Jesus Christ. Now that He is seated at the right hand of the Father we must pray even more and fast for His presence that He will guide us to eternal life. It is just showing that we are not for the world. We do not live for bread alone but on the words of God. Fasting is our personal desire to be closer to the Father. Ask forgiveness for our sins and shortcomings because of our weaknesses. Pray earnestly and humbly that His desire will be fulfilled to be worthy of the kingdom He has prepared for those who believe in Him.
When we fast we should surrender ourselves. Let us offer our sacrifices to Him in heartfelt prayer. We do this for the Father because we want to feel His presence more, that we are not for the world. That we are more willing to live according to His words even when we experience hardship and pain because of the various problems we face. We plead with His mercy and compassion that He will not forsake us and give us the strength to face every challenge in our lives.
Let us remember Jesus Christ how He lived in the world. Let us not drown in the pleasures of the world. Because if this is the pleasure you desire you may be worldly and ungodly. Let us strive to live a life pleasing to the Father. Being loving to our neighbors results in being compassionate, forgiving, understanding, and much more, only peace can be brought to each other's hearts as Jesus Christ also left us peace. This is what we keep in our hearts and minds. Let us fight anger, depression, pain, hardship, or any other negative emotions with love. Love must reign in the world among those who love the Lord and follow Jesus Christ toward eternal life with joy and gladness.

May the blessing of our Almighty God be with you always. In the name of our only Savior Jesus Christ, who was crucified and died for our sins. Amen.

What Does The Bible Say About Faith Tagalog / Filipino Bible Verse | Give Thanks To The Holy One

Give Thanks To The Holy One What Does The Bible Say About Faith  Ang pananampalataya ay ang katiyakan na matatanggap natin ang mga bagay na inaasahan natin. Nararana
