REFLECTION
Prayer
Praise be to you, Almighty God. Thank you so much for this new day with your love and care for us and my loved ones. Please forgive me Lord for my sins and shortcomings committed against you. Help me to resist temptations and live according to your vision. May you give me strength and intellect so that I may pursue your desires for me, Lord. I wish I could serve you, be pleasing in your sight. Guide me in this life closer to you, Father God.
Thank you, Lord, for your pure love for us that you gave your only child to atone for our sins. Please forgive me Lord for the wrongs done that have caused the suffering and death of your Son Jesus Christ. May you be granted understanding and follow in the footsteps of your Son Jesus Christ for eternal life. Please do not let me perish but may your words remain in my heart and mind to guide me in my journey and be worthy to enter the kingdom of heaven.
All praise and worship should be only to you Lord God. In the name of your Son Jesus Christ our Savior. Amen.

Sharing
Followers of Jesus Christ
As one striving to be a follower of Jesus Christ, we need to live a life of love and concern for our neighbors. We need to help each other as brothers and sisters in Jesus Christ. Let us be reminded of the words of God and strive to live in a way that pleases the Father. And this work will surely have a reward from the Lord. Jesus Christ is the light and the truth. Let us strengthen our faith in Jesus Christ so that we can grow in Him.
If we are to help our neighbor it must be true in our hearts and not just show off. Let us truly love our fellow believers in Jesus Christ and live according to His teachings and deeds that are from God. The church is the one that keeps its sheep from going astray. We are the sheep gathered and united to our one Savior Jesus Christ.
Let us avoid dominating our brothers and sisters who are still weak in faith but let us help them more to trust the Lord in all situations or any trials that come into their lives. God hates the proud but has mercy on the humble. So let us continue to live in praise of our Lord. All our good works for God have due grace from Him. Let us serve one another with all our hearts and strength. It is not hypocrisy to show our brothers and sisters in faith.

1 PETER 5
To the Elders and the Flock
1To the elders among you, I appeal as a fellow elder and a witness of Christ’s sufferings who also will share in the glory to be revealed:
2Be shepherds of God’s flock that is under your care, watching over them—not because you must, but because you are willing, as God wants you to be; not pursuing dishonest gain, but eager to serve;
3not lording it over those entrusted to you, but being examples to the flock.
4And when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the crown of glory that will never fade away.
5In the same way, you who are younger, submit yourselves to your elders. All of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, because,
“God opposes the proud
but shows favor to the humble.”
6Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time.
7Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.
8Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.
9Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that the family of believers throughout the world is undergoing the same kind of sufferings.
10And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast.
11To him be the power for ever and ever. Amen.
Final Greetings
12With the help of Silas, whom I regard as a faithful brother, I have written to you briefly, encouraging you and testifying that this is the true grace of God. Stand fast in it.
13She who is in Babylon, chosen together with you, sends you her greetings, and so does my son Mark. 14Greet one another with a kiss of love.
Peace to all of you who are in Christ.
God Bless!
May the blessing of our Almighty God be with you always. In the name of our only Savior Jesus Christ, who was crucified and died for our sins. Amen.
